The Church of the Nazarene's USA/Canada Regional Office is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Bond to coordinator of Revivalism Ministries.
Bond was appointed by the Board of General Superintendents and will replace retiring coordinator Chuck Millhuff.
In this position, Bond will be responsible for leading the "Committee on the Interests of the God-called Evangelist" and promoting revivalism and renewal among Nazarene churches.
Since 1969, Bond has traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada proclaiming Christian holiness in song and sermon. Gifted with a rich bass-baritone voice, he is comfortable both in the concert hall and revival service. Bond received his training at Purdue University and Olivet Nazarene University and holds elders credentials with the Church of the Nazarene.
He and his wife, Beth, currently reside in Sturgis, Michigan, and are members of the Sturgis Church of the Nazarene on the Michigan District.
"We are excited about Gary Bond's acceptance as the new Revivalism coordinator for the Church of the Nazarene," said USA/Canada Regional Office Director Bob Broadbooks. "He offers great experience and passion for the work of revivalism among the people called Nazarenes."
